Electronic circuits - driving higher current loads through parallel port
Once I had the parallel port isolation board, I started making other circuits which could be connected to it.

This one is meant for driving higher current loads. The board is based on the high power transistor TIP36C mounted on a beefy heat sink. It has no issues driving a 2.3A load as shown in the image below:

It includes free wheeling diode so that inductive loads can be connected directly. The programs used in the videos are written in BASIC running on Snowdrop OS.

I burned my fingers twice while experimenting with this board, before installing the heat sink.
