Apollo 12-in-1 vintage brick game (handheld LCD Tetris) too loud
I purchased this vintage brick game because I remember playing it in the 90s. I know that newer versions have been created in the mean time, but I disliked their slight differences.
I remembered it being loud, but it still startled me the first time I turned it on.
Experimenting with a few resistors, I settled on 1 kOhm in series with the speaker to bring it to a pleasant sound volume. It was that loud!
The second fix was to apply a generous amount of tin to one of the battery compartment pads,
